Recently, it was reported from the foreign media that Ford has announced a recall of some 2022 and 2023 model year Ford Mustang sports cars sold in North America, a total of 30,735.

According to overseas media reports, the electronic steering system of the recalled Ford Mustang is at risk of malfunctioning, and during driving, the steering wheel may "oscillate back and forth" due to a sensor failure, posing a driving risk. Ford dealers will fix the problem by updating the system's software. It is reported that the recalled vehicles were manufactured between September 15, 2022, and April 5, 2023.

In addition, according to data from the US Department of Transportation, Ford has issued 32 recall notices so far in 2024. There is currently no related recall information for the relevant models in the domestic market.

It is worth noting that in June this year, the all-new Ford Mustang was launched in China, with two models available, namely the Mustang Hardtop Performance Edition and the Mustang Convertible Sport Edition, priced at 389,800 yuan and 439,800 yuan respectively. As the seventh-generation product, the new car has undergone different degrees of upgrades in appearance, interior and power, and has introduced the convertible version for the first time.
